Today I learned about tessellations and what they are.Basically, a tessellation is a diagram of shapes made to ensure that every gap in between each shape is filled with regular polygons to form a basic pattern. I used two different and very basic shapes for my tessellation I think it came out exceptional considering I have only just learnt about tessellations and I can only imagine how the possibilities would be if I practised on a regular basis.
This was a rather fun activity than I would have thought because its very easy to learn and can be very appealing if done perfectly. So in conclusion I highly recomend this form of art and geometry and you should definitly check out Summer Learning Journey and giving this a try.Do you enjoy Geometry?
